Things To Know About Permanent Make Up
It's important to know that this IS considered in the realm of the tattoo industry. Although it is done in a different application method, it is done with most of the same materials. Unlike a tattoo, permanent make up is mostly done with organic, hybrid or inorganic pigments that are designed to be softer, more natural looking and blend well with natural skin tones and skin textures.
The applications are mostly designed to fade over time and the exact amout of time isn't necessarily a science. Our bodies break things down at different rates, organic pigments can last anywhere from 1-3 years and hybrid pigments can last 3-10. I almost always recommend starting with an organic pigment for permanent / tattooed eyebrows because we may decide to change our color and shape over time. This allows for a natural fade and the ability to make those changes without needing things like laser removal or saline removal to achieve this. The fade can take a couple months to a couple years depending on the product that your artist used.
There are many ways to change the appearance of your brows during your permanent make up journey. If you are looking for options, a consultation is always recommended ahead of time.
